Martha Clemence

Educator

Martha decided to join the cosmetology field during her high school’s career day and has been happy with her decision for the past 40 years. She now inspires the students at CBC to be all they can be. Before joining the staff at Cobb Beauty College, Martha was most recently a Market Manager for Fantastic Sam’s. Color is her passion and she is Master Color certified in five color lines. A career highlight was being featured on the Rachel Ray show for a high-fashion red carpet show.

Christian Thomason

Educator

Christian’s mother, who was a cosmetology instructor for 30 years, was her inspiration to become an educator. Christian loved anything that had to do with beauty and following in her mother’s footstep was second nature to her. Making a difference in her student’s lives and watching them grow into great cosmetologists gives Christian a great deal of satisfaction. She has been working in the industry for 28 years and her future plans are to continue to help her students achieve their goals.

Gwen Stradley

Educator

Gwen’s dream of an exciting career—one that did not involve sitting in a cubicle—brought her into cosmetology. She is an expert in color techniques, hair straightening treatments, and permanents. She has been in the industry for 14 years and joins us from Three-13 Salon, Spa & Boutique where she was a Master Technician. Spending time with family and friends, as well as painting and writing, are activities that Gwen enjoys in her free time.
